We went to a lacrosse game, never been to one before. It was interesting and entertaining. It is a pretty fierce sport. Friday night they showed up at the cabin and we played a loud game of Apples to Apples before bed, and what a nice night it was. Love, Grandma
After the concert we stopped over to see kids and check on the chickens. The back yard was beautiful in the evening sun, feels like you’re out in the country, not half a block from a huge intersection and highway. That kid ended up with a cut finger from the mesh. She was a good

Tim’s concerts this year have been a great surprise, the community and student band performing together is so much fun. Its also fun to see Tim on cymbals, showing all the dignified restraint expected. I picture him as a young squirrel and how he’d have absolutely delighted in banging those cymbals together as smashingly loud
These are mother’s day gifts, beautiful. Got the flowers planted: It’s looking better around here, much greener. The rabbits destroyed some of the foundation plantings, not very happy about that, but here we are, middle of May, and glad to be here. Love, Val
