So tomorrow Dan and Alicia will become the owners of that red cabin. It came up for sale this summer, and these opportunities arise unpredictably, so they had to go for it.
We had a lovely good-bye party for our neighbors, and the owner asked questions that got normally reluctant people talking. I learned new things about several people in our group that day. It was so much fun, unexpected and sweet, wishing them well on the next chapter.
So it’s an exciting day. The day we took ownership of our cabin is full of excited memories in those days right before Julia was born, and sixteen years of doing this: No regrets. Having a cabin was dream of Jay’s, not mine. I was neutral on the whole thing. But what a good choice this was.
Onward.
So much love, you guys, Love Mom and Dad and Everybody
