This goofy statue is on the walk up the hill to the butterfly sanctuary. The woman who gave the tour is from Mexico City, a grad student from working on conservation. The waterfall in the background was lovely and the butterflies all congregated in this corner, enjoying the sun. – – She gave a presentation

It’s done as fundraiser.  People open up their homes to the tour, and visitors are taken there by bus. The houses are beautiful and it is fun to get into parts of the city we normally wouldn’t go. – – – – – Love, Val

Jay made it to lacrosse on Sunday while I was doing an open house. They had a great time. This indoor facility is pretty plush, pretty nice. The net made it hard to get good pictures, but he got a few. – – – And they have this nice clubhouse to hang out in too.
