The balcony is one of the best parts of this place. This was the third year we’ve stayed there. The price is not expensive because the building is old and not fancy, but the view is amazing, And the whales– – – – – – Love, Val –

This goofy statue is on the walk up the hill to the butterfly sanctuary. The woman who gave the tour is from Mexico City, a grad student from working on conservation. The waterfall in the background was lovely and the butterflies all congregated in this corner, enjoying the sun. – – She gave a presentation

It’s done as fundraiser.  People open up their homes to the tour, and visitors are taken there by bus. The houses are beautiful and it is fun to get into parts of the city we normally wouldn’t go. – – – – – Love, Val
