Here they are, trying to lure a sunfish into their basket. When Sam does actually catch a fish, she just rolls it around in her mouth for a minute and spits it out again, no harm done.  These two girls  were pretty happy to see each other. And my parents came to the lake too.

You know, I watch my kids and my grandbabies with their ipads and parents’ phones and I’m so amazed. I’ve heard the negative comments about how kids can’t even carry on a conversation these days (not true) and how technology is wrecking their brains. the hornet’s nest

There are probably numerous ecological benefits to having something like this on your house. One of these guys flew up John’s nose a few years back and stung him good up inside there. It was a pretty horrible incident, eye swelled shut, terrible.  Anyway, they approached quietly. Only Jay was stung on the shoulder.
