They announced today that they’re extending distance learning for another week. It’s not that there are so many students out with covid. It’s that they don’t have staff. These two–the older one is back to college, semester off to a start this week. The younger is back on distance learning starting tomorrow, due to the pandemic. So many positive covid tests, though nobody we know is dangerously ill, it is just a lot. Probably this is a wise decision, but their anticipated return
Tonight was the first band concert since pandemic began and it was a beautiful musical event. That’s Jule, right middle of center with her French Horn. It was a truly beautiful concert. I thought I saw Tim in the back, hoodie, long hair, stopped by after his piano lesson. He says it wasn’t him.
It was good to have a volleyball season this year, and fun to celebrate at the end. So much love, Mom

Pretty picture, says it is the first time anyone has ever given her flowers. Presents! Cake–special request from Costco, easy enough. It was a lovely evening, dinner at a fun restaurant, fun in the kitchen afterward. We hope seventeen is a wonderful year. Thank you for all the happiness you’ve brought us these many years.
