Just one picture–midnight Santa has become a very sweet tradition with these youngest kids as they’ve gone from squirrels to young adults. This year did not disappoint.  So much love to each of you,  Mom and Dad, aka SANTA  

Tonight there were tornado warnings, and it was 50 degrees out today, such strange weather.    More shopping done, more wrapping done, and more cookies are done.  I spent an hour with a friend who is in hospice care at home, and with her mother, which was absolutely lovely.   Others are struggling with serious health

The catalpa tree loses all the leaves on one day in November. They all fall straight off in about twenty four hours. Turkey made it back again this year.  He’s not as great as the ghost or the Santa, but he’s good. Happy November, Love, Val

Gravel road these days, apparently we’re getting new asphalt. Who knew? And back home again at the end of the night, where I texted Alicia about her upcoming JURY DUTY.  Oh, for heaven’s sakes, what’s next?  They had a good weekend in Duluth with friends and a herd of kids, hiking, enjoying this gorgeous fall
