What a great day. Thanks for being our grandchild, Buddy. Love, Grandma and Grandpa

 The light and the trees, gorgeous.  Yeah, doing stunts on a woodpile.  We scrubbed with soap and bleach.  It has to be done once in a while.  Sunday night Birthday Party, two little angels entertained by battery operated toy of my grandmother’s.  And young squirrels, enjoying a fresh, evening breeze.  Cake time!  M’ria?  I do

 Last week, on a warm, sunny evening, Heidi and I took some kids to a pumpkin patch near her home. Afterward we went back to her house and ate ravioli for supper and it was a fine, fall evening.  What’s a chicken with a puffy hair do? What a great night. Love, Grandma

We had a good time at the lake, in spite of the dark and occasional rain. This is the house we live in, the early to mid-morning light.  So some especially cute people have shown up. And yeah, we get to figure that out Trying on all the basket of dirty clothes: Some kind of wild bangs situation I tried to assist with and was rejected. Ice cream on the patio!

So this is what’s happening here. These very quiet looking windows are rotting off the house. We paint all the time. This is a big house, not suitable to any all-at-once painting situation. We paint ourselves around the house, year by year. Well. That’s all fine and so forth until you come upon window sills

 We walked up there one day last week for a while.    They were as entertained by rolling around on James in the shade as they were in playing on the equipment. Then we came home and had lunch and headed for the Little Pool. These summer days are so sweet.   love, Val
