It was a great night, a wonderful party.
Now it’s Friday evening and the groceries are bought and the kitchen floor washed and waxed for the first time in weeks–it is kind of a project. The house is vacuumed and dusted and Kari is slicing cheese and sausage, and I’m in the mood to bake a chocolate cake.
